-the Nazi Party had become increasingly divided due to the Munich Putsch and Hitler being in prison

-the Nazi Party was organised into 35 regions (Gaue) to spread Nazi ideology unique to different regions
What did Gaue Regions do?
-gave responsibility to powerful individuals who ruled their own Gaue while working towards Hitler’s aims
What was Goebbels the Gauleiter of and what did this mean?
-Berlin
-he was the chief of propaganda so Germany’s capital was getting the majority of Nazi ideology
How were Gaue regions beneficial for Hitler?
-it didn’t detract from Hitler’s own position of authority as leader
