He- sea Point
Earth point
Horary point
Point of sea of food
The point lies at 13 cun above the height of the prominence of the lateral malleolus, roughly I finger-width lateral to the crest of the tibia, where you feel the condyle of the tibia begins to flare out. Run your forefinger up the lateral edge of the tibia and feel for the start of this flare; and then, just laterally to this point, feel for a small flat area about the size of a fingertip. This hollow can be accentuated by asking your patient to gently raise and lower his foot. Ensure that you are in a hollow within the muscle, (tibialis anterior) and not in the often, larger hollow that can be felt on the lateral border of the muscle. It can be helpful to locate this point with reference GB 34, in that the point is found 1 cun inferior to the level of GB 34.

Lower He- sea point of large intestine
Point of sea of blood
10 cun above the height of the prominence of the lateral malleolus in the groove roughly I finger-width from the crest of the tibia, in the muscle (tibialis anterior) When the muscle (tibialis anterior) that both raises the instep through rolling the foot onto its outside edge, and angles the foot up, is flexed, St 36, St 37, St 39 lie at the top, the middle and the lower end of the protuberance of the muscle, at a gap of 3 cun from one another.
(13, 10,7 cun.)
St38- Narrow Opening
TIAOKOU: Narrow Opening
8 cun. Midway between St 35 (at the distal corner of the patella) and St 41, roughly I finger-width from the crest of the tibia, in the muscle (tibialis anterior) and on a level with ST 40.

Lower He- Sea pt of small intestine
Point of sea of blood
7 cun above the height of the prominence of the lateral malleolus in the groove I finger-width from the crest of the tibia, in the muscle (tibialis anterior).

Luo- connecting point
8 cun. The point lies 2 finger-widths from the crest of the tibia.
On some people this will fall on the lateral border of the muscle (tibialis anterior), but more commonly, 2 finger-widths will take you to a slight depression in the body of the muscle. This muscle both raises the instep through rolling the foot onto its outside edge, and tilts the foot up from the heel.

Fire point
Tonification point
Point to release internal dragons
This point lies at the middle of the flexure of the ankle, in a hollow between two tendons. Place your hand over the dorsum of the foot with your thumb and index finger below the medial and lateral malleoli.

Yuan- source point
On the dome of the dorsum of the foot, about 1½ cun distal to St 41, or about half-way between St 41 and St 43. Mark this out roughly.
To find the point, place your finger on your mark and then ask the patient to raise his toes fully, as this exposes the correct hollow just medial to the common tendon of the four outer toes (extensor digitorum longus). Now feel for the point as the foot relaxes. On many people the pulse of the dorsal artery of the foot may be felt there. The hollow lies between the middle and lateral cuneiform bones, at their proximal edge. If you imagine the curved line shoe strap that stretches from Kid 2 to BI 63, then St 42 lies on this line at the centre of the dome of the foot.

Shu- stream point
Wood point
Just distal to the junction of the 2nd and 3rd MT bones, where the base of the 2nd MT bone begins to flare out. Feel up the gap between the two MT bones to a place that is still in line with the lateral edge of the second toe.
use thumb to feel until you can’t go
Up no more then come back a little/ the point is there

NEITING: Inner Courtyard
On the lateral edge of the 2nd toe, just distal to the 2nd MTP joint, where the base of the proximal phalangeal bone begins to flare out. Push up the joint from below to expose the proximal phalangeal bone of the 2nd toe.
