From knuckle On ulnar side of 5th Mc between the bone and the muscle that pulls out the little finger (abductor digiti minimi)

From knuckle move finger down to the head of the 5th Mc.
At the beginning of flare of head the point lies between bone and muscle abductor digiti minimi. Get patient to move little finger in and out

On ulnar edge of hand between 5th mc & Triquetral bone

Feel along 5th MC bone until dropping into the depression.
Mark point close to end of 5th Mc.
Get patient to open out little finger exposing muscle.
Point between bone and muscle round to the front

A

Xi- Cleft

The point lies proximal to head of ulna .
Fold patients arm across chest with their palm facing towards feet.
Place finger on proximal slope of highest point in ulna keeping finger in place, rotate patient hand so that the palm faces his chest.
Finger will be on point in cleft between bone and tendon extensor digiti minimi (extends the little finger), just proximal to head of ulna

Patients arm in position holding violin

Point lies 5 Cun proximal to SI 5, on a line that follows the contour of arm connecting SI5- SI8

Point is on the ulnar edge of ulnar bone in the cleft between the bone and muscle that pulls up the wrist (flexor carpi Ulnaris)
