A
- Useful application to real world events.
- High ecological valdity (a result of using feild experiments)

Weaknesses of social approach
A
- Ethical issues can arise from field experiment methodolgies in terms of informed consent.
- Low control over exraneous varibles.
- Explanations can be deterministic as they assume all behaviours are a result of social proccesses or enviroments.
- Vulnerable to demand characteristics/ social desirability bias (people try to please others)
