What was the Renaissance?
Rebirth of knowledge after the middle ages is started when scholars who are not monks and nuns started to rediscover the books of Greece and Rome
Who preserved the books of Greece and Rome?
The monks and the nuns preserve the knowledge of Greece and Rome in libraries by copying books.
Who were the humanists and what were their goal?
The humanist studied humanities, and their goal was to bring back classical work by rediscovering ancient books, and bringing them out into the world.
What are some examples of humanities?
Communications psychology, religion, architecture, history, and English
Who was Petrarch? 
Petrarch was a humanist poet and scholar, and wanted to know what was in the books of Greece and Rome
