Extended metaphor of ‘Teeth’, precision, perfect, clinical exactness. If an imperfection can be removed. Country wears them, not ruth/real Singapore just a mask/disguise. ‘Hypnosis’ put to sleep hide truth forget past new reality.

Change in personal pronoun to appeal to audience to try and detach them from progress. ‘Blueprint’ Planning what people are going to remember, history/culture. Realises change is inevitable
