Anterior/ medial - Sartorius, tensor fasciae latae, iliacus, adductors, gracilis, rectus femoris, vastus medialis, vastus lateralis
Posterior- gluteus maximus, IT band, vastus lateralis, biceps femoris, semitendinosus, semimebranosus
ITB fascial release
Use myofascial release. Go slowly. Can go one way or both
soft tissue medial aspect
Patient side-lying.
Gracilis, adductors, Sartorius
Can go to deeper structures
Semitendinosus, semimembranosus and biceps femoris
harmonics
-circumduction= Patient sat. hold joint line. swing leg side to side. circle
-flex/ ext= Hold ankle and push forward and back
supine articulation (flex/ext)
Flexion- flex knee up, put contact under joint line, forearm under calf. Oscillate
Extension- hold knee down and pull tibia up
