supine articulation

A

-int/ ext rot, circumduction
-traction- Lower plinth. Flex leg up, scooping motion and bring towards me
-traction/ distraction- Flex both legs up and sit on patient’s toes. Hold knees and lean back. Arm under leg and on top. Pull with both hands

sidelying articulation

A

-abd/ add- Hold patient’s greater trochanter. Hold knee and bring up and down. Can also internally/ externally rotate
-traction- Bottom knee flexed. Put top leg over knee. Contact on greater trochanter and push leg down
