What does the judiciary mean?
It is a collective term for all different types of judge in the system
What is the judiciary split between?
Civil courts and Criminal courts
The higher up the hierarchy, the more likely what?
The more likely judges can sit in either civil or criminal cases.
What is the judiciaries main role?
To adjudicate either over transgressions of the law in criminal trials or in disputes in civil cases
What are the judges divided into?
Inferior (Crown Court and below), and
Superior (High Court and above).
