How we can protect the environment?
- Well, quite honestly, I’m careful with the environment, and I often try to protect it by recycling plastic into other products. In addition to this, I always separate food from household waste paying attention to put it in the correct recycling bin. On top of that, I do the same for every kind of rubbish I might find out in my home. By the way, I reckon everyone should be environmental-friendly since it’s a key factor to get a sustainable world.
- I strive not to buy too many clothes and I really try hard to recycle things, to segregate the rubbish at home and to put the different things into the different recycling bins. I think it’s really important you know I like to do my bit, to save the planet.
Would you like to work in a company related to environmental protection?
- Well I DEFinitely would.
- You know I’m careful to look after the environment. That’s why I always want to work for companies that play a positive role in society. And I’m very proud to work for green organizations and happily spread the principles of being green to all my friends and family
Do you think you’ve done enough to protect the environment?
No, I still use goods made from plastic sometimes, such as coffee cups in Starbucks.
- I know that I can still do more than what I’ve done and because of that, I strive not to use disposable plastic. On top of that, I really try hard to recycle things, segregate the rubbish at home, and put the different things into the different recycling bins.
Is there education about environmental protection at school?
Yes.
But I think the amount of insights that one nees in order for him to be aware of the repercussions of what humans are doing to the Earth does not suffice.
Schools can organize excursions to places that are damaged by industrialization and incentivise students who come up with the best solutions to curtail the devastating impacts that we have on Earth.
How we damage the environment?
Well, I would say humans impact the physical environment in many ways: deforestation, poaching, and illegal dumping.
In addition to this, corporations also play an outsized role in driving global climate change by overuse of nonrenewable resources
Damage to the environment is getting out of hand, if we don’t do something soon, we will lose our planet.
How can governments tackle (solve) this issue?
Environment should be top priority of any government. You can live without food for a while but you cannot live even a minute without clean air and water.
There are numerous ways for government to take care of the enviroment by:
- Raise awareness of the need to recycle
- Sensitise people to the importance of using renewable energy
Incentivise (=to motivate) people to recycle
Incentivise (=to motivate) companies to use renewable energy and
sustainable energy (solar (sun), hydro (water), wind…geothermal..)
Set zero-carbon energy targets
Reduce their carbon footprint to ‘net zero’
Promote the use of electric cars - and public transport
Plant trees
