Is it easy for you to remember people’s names?
Yeah, I would say so. Enven though I may have heard of their somone’s name once or a few times, I’ll still be able to remember their name write accurately. But of course, there have been times when their name totally escaped me / sometimes I blank on person’s name and it was embarrassing.
How do you remember people’s name?
Well, there is no sound sweeter to a person than the sound of their own voice. So I always try to associate the name of the person I just met with someone or something that’s easy to recall.
For example, last week I met a customer whose name is Cristiano. His name cojured up images of famous football players that I really admired. So it’s easier to recall his name the next time I see him.
And I believe that Using someone’s name while you are speaking with them can be a powerful tool and shows you as a caring and observant person.
How do you feel when people can’t remember your name?
I dont think that I’m gonna have harsh feelings or get offended when it comes to this, a lot of people do though.
I mean, some people just don’t have a good memory or they are just too occupied with their life to remember my name
I know that it seems as if I weren’t important to them, but there have been times I couldn’t remember my own cousis’ names. Does that make them any less important to me? Obviously, no.
But of course, you should always remember people’s name, especially ones who are close to you or important in your life because a lot of people will fly off the handle and criticize you harshly if you don’t remember their name
Do you often forget people’s names?
Not really, like I said earlier, I have made great effort to alleviate this issue by using tactics to try to remember people’s names, especially my customers. If I accidentally slip out the wrong name that would be very embarrassing.
