What kind of art do you enjoy?
I enjoy music
I BELIEVE music is one of the best ways to communicate feeling BECAUSE it resonates in your brain even after you stop listening, WHICH I THINK IS absolutely incredible!
What are the traditional art forms in your country?
Very hard to say (because they’re many)
I can say it’s music, others can say it’s painting, some might even say dancing, which I don’t think is true. So the answer really varies depending on who you ask.
FOR ME PERSONALLY, I BELIEVE music is the traditional art form in my country because it’s been around
What makes a good painting?
You’re asking the wrong guy BECAUSE I don’t know zip about painting
But I BELIEVE it’s the hidden message of the painting that counts
The different painting conveys different messages, which is why I think messages are what distinguish one painting with others. So if you show me a painting, I would try to find the message behind it BECAUSE I believe that’s very important.
Do you think children should study arts at school?
No, I don’t
I don’t think I need to explain much. You can look around you and see that children who are forced to study arts at school DON’T REALLY ENJOY it, which I think is so ridiculous and wasteful.
For me personally, I hated the art subjects when I was in school. But after I left school, I don’t hate arts anymore.
How can children benefit from learning art?
Well, I think the answer really depends on the child himself
If the child doesn’t like art, which can be the case, in the first place, there will not be any benefits at all.
If the child does like art, which I think is more common, he or she can see the world with a more artistic eye and enjoy his or her life more.
How has art changed in the last few decades in your country?
I don’t know
Really I don’t know because I’m not an art person
But I would say that arts have become more accessible and comprehensive. You now can see art almost everywhere. From the art banners to the design of a cell phone, which I think is very cool
Look at the cell phone you are using right now. That’s the art and that’s how far it has evolved.
