Due to gods sin they would pray
Due to humour imbalances they true bloodletting and purging
Due to miasma they carried string smelling herbs
How did the Black Death cause social change
After it, there were far fewer workers which meant that they could demand higher wages and move around to find better work
The cost of land also decreased so peasants could buy land
How did the social change form the Black Death threaten the power of elites
The government created laws such to try and stop peasants moving around the country
