Animals roamed around freely
Terrible sanitation, animal blood was spread everywhere from butlers and human waste was chucked everywhere
Cleanliness was hard but hardly any hot water

God was blamed for illness and the church became very powerfuk so everyone believed what the church said and education and medical training was controlled by church

His teaching were encouraged and the four humours was a strong theory which no one wanted to challenge as they were too Afriad of change

In 1388, it was to keep the streets free from waste and create a clean water supply

They had cleaner water and good systems for getting rid of waste and sewage
