The Four Bandhas

A

Jalandhara Bandha - Throat lock. Control flow of prana and relax the mind.

Moola Bandha - Perineum contraction, root chakra. Passage of anus to navel, tones pelvic region, protects spine and prevents injury. Helps you lift and feel lighter.

Uddyana Bandha - Abdominal contraction, tip of solar plexus. Draw in and up to spine. Helps you float and fly (ie: headstand)

Maha Bandha - The great lock of all 3 above
