Q

What are the disadvantages of leaving land?

A
  • Gravity - body needs support for locomotion and prevention of lung collapse
  • Need respiratory adaption for abundant oxygen
  • Greater fluctuations in temperature
  • Different food and methods of capture
  • Reproduction
  • Blood circulation - more difficult pump.
