provisions for uncertainty of the marketplace and fluctuating prices

if over 10sf, involve a mold professional. recommended by EPA. once mold professional clears the area, fix the underlying issue

In situ load testing (simulates anticipated loads)

- architect/owner/contractor/or other party to request further info from each other during construction

used by arch to issue additional instructions or interpretations, or to order minor changes in the work

for owner to verify the background, references, and financial stability of any contractor being considered during the bidding or award phase

for implementing changes in the work agreed to by the owner, contractor, architect

workability of mixture. a collapsed slump means the mixture is too wet
What does a cylinder test help quantify?
used to test the compressive strength of hardened concrete

Unjust enrichment - when a party unfairly benefits at the expense of the other part

when unforeseeable circumstances prevent someone from fulfilling a contract

- to ensure safety and welfare of future occupants by checking for structural integrity
- to pinpoint any ares of weakness as they pertain to water penetration
- to validate design
