the nitrogen cycle goes in what order?
Fixation/Ammonification, nitrification, denitrification/assimilation
what are things that organsims need nitrogen for?
DNA, RNA, and aminoacids
what is the most common form in which nitrogen gets released back into the environment.
ammonia
the phosphorus cycle is what?
the phosphate is released from rocks due to weathering, the phosphate is fixed by primary producers and then decomposers release these back into the soil when those primary producers die

what is eutrophication?
where there are so many nutrients that the bacteria takes over the ecosystem and drains it’s oxygen
there are four mechanisms of evolution, what are they?
natural selection, muatation, gene flow, and genetic drift
Georges buffon suggested what?
the earth should be older than previously thought
the struggle for existance is based on what?
the struggle of survival and the struggle to reproduce
