Open space that allows jaw to rotate
External Auditory Meatus
Hole to ear
Styloid Process
Sharp point inside ears
Mastoid Process
Edge of bone behind ears
Lambdoid Suture
Connects occipital to parietal and temporal
Shaped like lambda
Foramen Magnum
Big hole where head attaches to spine
Occipital Condyles
Bumps on each side of foramen magnum that rock head front to back
Sphenoid Bone
Bone behind eyes and crosses through the skull
