Joven- young, fruity. Minimal aging and released the year following the vintage
Crianza- must be aged in oak.
Reserva- must age for extended periods of time before Release both in oak barrels and bottle. The tannins soften and some of the fresh red fruits will become cooked or dry in flavour.
Gran Reserva- highest minimum ageing requirements. Typically have the most pronounced secondary and tertiary aromas
