Aromatic variety that cross best in cool to moderate climates. Powerfully scented wines that range from dry to sweet.
High levels of sugar during ripening. Dry wines will have a high alcohol.
Typically full bodied with low to medium acidity.
Pronounced floral aromas (rose) as well as stone fruit (peach, apricot) and tropical fruit (lychee)
Unoaked to preserve floral aromas.
Can develop honey and dried fruit in bottle
