How do you facilitate a brainstorming session?
1) write down as many ideas as possible
2) is there anything we missed?
3) if it isn’t any of these, what else could be?
4) repeat 2-3 times
What is Nominal Group Technique (NGT)?
1) silently write down as many ideas as possible
2) share one that is most important
3) repeat sharing one most important idea until the 4th or 5th idea is reached
4) discuss ideas and consolidate/harmonize
5) prioritize ideas (assign points based on a scale and total them)
What is multi-voting?
collaborative process used to generate pros/cons of various options, reach a consensus about potential problems, or ensure every option is given fair consideration
How is multi-voting facilitated?
1) complete brainstorming session and condense results
2) allocate 100 points to each participants
