Empowerment - The process of recognizing, promoting and enhancing people’s abilities to meet their own learning needs, solve their own problems and mobilize necessary resources to take control of their lives.
Advocacy - The act of informing and supporting a person so they can make the best decisions for themselves.
Choice - Societal Constraints: Ethical (e.g.. right to die) Legal (e.g. legal age) Economic (e.g. private surgery)
