What do you find interesting about the finance industry right now
- emergence of technology/ai, how this is shaping various industries
- in tech, you see major companies almost drop everything they are doing and investing in technology
- apple stopped production of apple car which has been going on for years and billions of dollars for tech
- you see how finance is being shaped as well
- reading Wall Street jorunal, article stood out to me about how people are prefering their home town bank as opposed to some of the large ones for personal reasons
- AI has the potential to change that and give each client that personalized experience
- interesting to see where industries will go, biggest opportunity in banking since mobile banking some 20 years ago

- Forging relationships
- everything is a people business
- I want to paint myself as someone who is going in with an open mind and ready to learn
- will not get that by sitting back and being quiet

- the most important hurdle is to find out what are the right questions to ask, and who are the right people to ask them to
What are the greatest challenges the financial sector will face in the next five years
- Introduction of AI need to keep up
- already seeing this in tech sector, AI chip are rare
- apple dropping everything for AI
- in finance, the use of AI is everything
- reading article in WSJ, individuals are starting to prefer local banks for the personal experience
- AI can change that, give everybody a unique and personal experience
- who can best utilize AI in the financial sector

TD bank is obviously one of the largest banks in Canada, I believe it is second out of the Big 5 in Canada just being RBC. I was wondering in your opinion, how does TD stand out from these other banks in Canada, and how does the way it approaches risk contribute to that?
