    • Spoke to financial analyst at Jp Morgan named Ibraheem who had gone through this program, and we spoke for over an hour about his experience.
    • The more we spoke the more it became clear that my skillset in customer service, financial planning and analysis and teamwork would make me an exceptional fit at the organization

  1. Tell me about a time a project didn’t go according to plan, and what you did to get it back on track.
A

Operator Onboarding Form
Manage trucks utilized by organization
‘bible’ for operators
difficult aligning goals with all interns
took the initiative to sit everyone down and go over the task as well as our respective goals and visions
reached a common ground and put out a document that we were all happy with
final product received a lot of praise, and targeted the final goal so effectively that it is actually being used by the company right now

  1. What classes, books, or other guidance have you used in your career to develop as a leader?
A
  • communications course (asked to TA for next term)
  • listen to audiobooks that help raise self awareness (i believe this is crucial to becoming the best leader possible, to be the best leader i must strive to become my best self)
  • guidance from industry professionals and mentors (regular chats with david and his experiences)

  1. If hired, what do you predict will be the most important hurdle to overcome in your first 90 days on the job?
A
  • clarifying expectations and creating a relationship with managers and other interns
  • both of these require work that i am willing to put in
  • this was my most important hurdle in my prior internship and overcoming this is what set me on the track for success

  • jp morgans values of operational excellence, teamwork, integrity and customer service align with my own values, and I believe that this is the firm where I can best develop myself and leave the greatest impact
