What are job specifications?
The minimum qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance
Why should you NOT add certain specifications that you don’t really need
It can lead to bias and adverse impact against protected groups
What are essential functions
Primary job duties individual must be able to perform with or without reasonable accomodation

What is job bidding?
Generally a union related term - someone says when that job become open, I want to be consider. Bidding for job before it becomes open
FTE?
Full time equivalent (2x20 hr employee) - but two headcount

How many people do you have on payroll
Cost of hire
Total costs divided by the number
Time to fill
Starts when job req is opened to when candidate accepts
What is selection
Process of evaluating the most suitable candidates for a position
