When RVR is not reported and reported met conditions is below that req for t/o
T/o can only be commenced if the commander can determine the RVR along the t/o r/y is better than or equal to the req minima
Req RVR/ vis if the a/p has r/y edge and/or centreline marking
Cat A,B,C = 200m
Cat D = 300m
Req RVR/ vis if the a/p has r/y edge and/or centreline lighting
Cat A,B, C = 200m
Cat D = 250m
Req RVR/ vis if the a/p has r/y edge and/or centreline lighting and RVR info
Cat A,B,C = 150m
Cat D = 200m
Req RVR/ vis if the a/p has no facilities
500m for all a/c cat
Low vis t/o limits without approval
Cat A,B,C = 150m RVR
Cat D = D
Low vis t/o limits with approval
When LVPs in force - Cat A,B,C = 125m
And
Cat D = 150m
However - if you have lateral guidance and with approval - RVR for all a/c cats can be reduced to 75m
NADP - thrust reduction is not advisable in
R/y surface is contaminated
X wind component exceeds 15kts
Tailwind component exceeds 5kts
Windshear/Ts are reported
Pic has the authority to cancel the NADP
Most common NADP and min height to start thrust reduction
NADP 1 - for close areas
NADP 2 - for distant areas
Min height = 800ft
