- When an APU start is initiated
- When engine is shutdown
These are only true with no external power applied
How long should ENG START switch be set to OFF before being reselected on?
1 min
If reselected on after 1-2sec, the APSCU may log an underspeed fault

Maximum advance is 2 units, ie. min AoA for tone alarm is actually 12
What are the two considerations for an abort above Vstop
From Part 3 (HANDLING)
- EMBS should be observed unless this will delay braking to less than 5000’ from the end of the ASDA
- Throttle should be closed due to the engine’s high idling thrust

NOTE: IGN indicator may extinguish prior to reaching flight idle RPM
Why is the minimum RPM for an immediate relight 10%?
Below 6% NH there may be inadequate fuel delivery for a successful relight, and the EMP is blank below 10%.
What results from pressing the relight button
- If ENG START switch is on: APU will attempt to start
- Main Generator trips offline
- Igniters are activated for 30sec, provided throttle is at/just above IDLE
- DC starter pump activates
