A

Army Air and Missile Defense Command / Commander (AAMDC)
- Army’s lead organization of air and missile defense (AMD).
- Normally collocates with either JFLCC HQ or AOC.
- Commands theater AMD brigades.
3 active components and 1 National Guard HQ.
- May be designated as the Deputy Area Air Defense Commander (DAADC) - integrated with JFACC.
- Likely designated as Theater Army Air and Missile Defense Coordinator (TAAMDCOORD)

Air Defense Artillery Fire Control Officer (ADAFCO)

  • Collocated with the appropriate engagement controlling authority.
  • 1x ADAFCO at AOC and 1x ADAFCO at CRC, AWACS, Marine TAOC or Navy Aegis system.
  • Single Army POC for positive control between Army ADA systems and joint C2 centers.
  • Provide for rapid engagement of targets.
  • Disseminate and comply with air defense warnings, ATO, and ACO.
