A
- Assist the division staff in planning localized SEAD
- Coordinates suppression of dynamic targets/identify target coordinates
- Coordinates SEAD operations with the AOC and subordinate TACPs
- Coordinates with AOC Senior Intelligence Duty Officer (SIDO) and ISRD for BDA and intelligence support

Explain the flow of a DD Form 1972, Joint Tactical Air Strike Request, from submission to CAS mission execution.

Preplanned:
- Initiated by Army echelons
- Sent via Army channels to next higher echelon using AFATDS
- Requests from the lower echelons are consolidated and then passed to the next higher echelon ultimately to the BCD in the AOC.
Immediate:
- Initiated by Army echelons
- Through AFATDS
- TACP sends immediate requests through Air Force channels via JARN to the ASOC.
