Describe the star of David
It is a special star of David the greatest King.
Describe the main room for praying
Men sit in front of a grey screen and the women behind because the men are in charge. The men pray for family, women pray to do physical work at home acording to there god.
Describe the Ner Tamid
It is a lamp above the ark. It is always lit symbolizing gods constant presence since it is always lit. It is sometimes called the eternal light.
Describe the Bimah
It is where you read the Torah on. It is on a raised platform. During the service the Torah is taken from the Ark and out on the Bimah.
Describe the closed Ark
It is where the Torah scrolls are kept. Its the most important thing.

Its where you can see the Torah from.
Describe the curtains of the Ark
They protect and cover the Torah scrolls.
Describe the 10 commandments
The 613 commandments are condensed down into 10 and are written on a material above the Ark. They are written in Hebrew.
Describe the Menorah
It is also known as the seven branched candle. It was the thing in the temple in Jerusalem. The Ner Tamid symbolizes the Menorah in the synagogue.
