A
  • involuntary and rhythmic muscle contractions
  • caused by a permanent lesion in descending motor neurons.

spasticity

A
  • a motor disorder characterised by a velocity-dependent increase in tonic stretch reflexes (muscle tone)

  • co-activation of opposing muscle groups antagonist and agonist
  • exaggerated tendon jerks,
