Sustainable Living
Living in a way that meets peoples needs now without effect the ability of people to do so in the future
Water conservation
Only add much water should be taken as can be naturally replaced:
- Collect rainwater for gardens/toilets
- Toilets that flush less water
- Encourage less water use
- Water meters so people pay for the water they use

- Promote renewable energy

Waste recycling
- Recycling reduces the need for new materials
- Less waste goes to landfill (and emits greenhouse gases)
- Recycling facilities for larger items (fridges?)
- Items offered for free through websites instead of being thrown away

Green Spaces
- Provide cooler areas for people to relax in hot weather
- Encourage excersiuse and alternative transport
- Make people happier as they’re given a break from noise and bustle of the city
- reduce air pollution (pockets of clean air)
- Risk of flooding from surface run off reduces

- Barigiui park was designed to absorb flood waters
Traffic congestion Issues
- more air pollution
- late for work, late deliveries , lose money
- poor health for people who believe brether in polluted air
- More accidents as drivers are more frustrated
Integrated public transport
Reduces the need for people to drive their own cars as public transport is easier and quicker

Reduces the number of people in roads as well as being quicker then other transports
