Discuss the blood supply to the stomach
Right gastroepiploic artery
The inferior portion of the greater curvature
Left gastroepiploic artery
The superior portion of the greater curvature
Short gastric artery
The fundus of the stomach
Right gastric artery
This is a branch of the common hepatic artery. It supplies the inferior portion of the lesser curvature.
Left gastric artery
Direct branch of the celiac truck. It supplies the superior portion of the lesser curvature and the cardiac region.
NB: All of these major arteries arise from the celiac truck which is the first major branch of the abdominal aorta.
What is the Nerve supply to the stomach
