A

disease where gut tissue becomes inflamed and starts to die which can lead to perforation and leakage of bowel contents into the abdomen- causing infections

what is meconium ileus?

A

bowel obstruction in the ileum when meconium is too thick & sticky to pass through- usually seen in CF

symptoms- no passage of meconium, vomiting that has yellow/green instead of white

A
