What clinical signs are specific for lower urinary tract disease? Three answers.
(Pollakiuria, stranguria, and dysuria)
What are the 3 most common causes of lower urinary tract disease in dogs?
(UTI, uroliths, and neoplasia (specifically transitional cell carcinoma))
If there is no UTI present prior to your cystotomy, how does this change your antibiotic plans?
(If not UTI, only prophylactic abx are necessary; if there is a UTI present, therapeutic abx are necessary)
Why is monocryl Dr. Ganjei’s suture of choice for the bladder?
(Because its absorption pattern matches the bladder healing pattern which can prevent suture from becoming a nidus for more stone formation)
