Both conscious and unconscious responses involve the activation of the somatic nervous system, both also utilize sensory and motor nerves
What are characteristics of an unconscious response
Unconscious responses are quick due to them only going through the spinal cord, they are often protective responses eg moving the hand away from a hot coffee prevents tissue damage.

Reconstruction of memory is a process in which a edited memory is formed by combining old stored information (the original memory) with new available information, this can be added through leading questions which can add false info to you memory
How can bright light therapy help shift workers
bright light therapy is a type of sleep therapy that involves shinning a bright but not harmful light into the patient’s eye this tricks the brain into thinking that it i morning and suppresses the secretion of melatonin in the body this makes them feel awake, for night shift workers you would use bright light therapy at the beginning of their shift so that they don’t feel sleepy during their shift and then release melatonin at the end of their shift.
