Three-age System:
- Stone Age
- Bronze Age
- Iron Age
is the period of weapons made of stone, wood, or some other materials aside from metals. Further subdivided into three:
- Stone Age
achieved when the process of smelting was discovered. Tools are now widely made with copper or bronze
- Bronze Age
advancement with smelting made it possible for tools to be made of iron
- Iron Age

o Neolithic (“New Stone”) Period
the longest phase of human history; were nomadic (constantly moving/migrating) to seek out temporary settlements and sources of food
