Q

How would you elaborate on the second advantage of failure to function adequately

A
  • it can be seen by others around the individual (i.e may not get out of bed in the morning, or keep a job down)
  • failure to function can be easy to judge objectively as behaviours are observable (i.e can dress, can eat)
  • this a strength because others can intervene if the individual is unable to make decisions or help themselves
