3 Goal 2. Maximize service to the public and assistance to allied agencies..
Through 3 strategies
A. Increase availability of reports ready for the public within 8 days to 90% by 2015; ensure reports are being completed prior to RDO’s, run AI reports to see if reports are being held, talk to AI to see which officers are having trouble, ensure follow up is being completed in timely manner, set aside time for officer to complete I depth investigations, remedial training, discuss at briefing training days
B. improve efficiency off comm centers (25 statewide), shorter hold time for 911,improve answering time, improve call handling efficiency, post training for dispatchers
C. Commanders dev profess. Relations/partnership with community leaders/organization ; meet with school boards, co board supervisors, city officials local state officials community groups and events utilize PIO and SSP officer

Through 2 strategies
A. Assume ICS at all CHP jurisdiction incidents, can be done by IC training, briefing Of Officers, attend meetings involving traffic safety stakeholders, multi-agency mock exercises.
- Goal 4 protect public and state assets
Through 4 strategies
A. Use resources and technology to reduce vehicle theft reduce vehicle theft by 5%
B. provide state agencies with crime prevention, emergency preparedness and work place violence training.
C. Ensure accurate reporting of crimes/incidents on state property
D. Expand the departments terrorism liaison officer program 1TLO per division

A. Enhance fiscal ad resource mananagement of departmental operations;
Fiscal, workers comp, officer safety, occ safety, return to work, annual fitness challenge, employee health and wellness program, mentoring, EAP & peer support, pursuit & shooting policy and search & seizure

By meeting these 5 goals are Department is able to maintain it’s highest standards, sound procedures and policies which is reflected by the CHP recently becoming a member of Commission on Accreditation for law enforcement agencies (CALEA. )
