Its use, advantages and limitations?
Stores volatile data and acts as memory.
Advantages: More capacity than RAM
- cheaper than ram per gb
-store data even when switched off
Limitations:
Damaged easily and slower than ram
What is a SSD?
Its use, advantages and limitations?
Solid state drives. Use flash memory to store data with no moving parts
Advantages:
-faster than HDDs
-Silent processing
Limitations:
-more expensive than SSDs
-less storage space
What is a optical media?
Its use, advantages and limitations?
Storage devices like CDs or DvDs
Used for storage and archives
Advantages:
-durable
-portable
-inexpensive
Limitations:
-low storage
-obsolete
-not durable

Its use, advantages and limitations?
Enables wireless communication and connection to internet via cellular network.
Advantages:
-mobile
-reliable
-broad coverage
Limitations:
-data caps
-speed limits

Enables internet access over copper telephone lines
Advantages:

-easy to install
