What is a monitor/screen?
Its use, advantages and limitations and what factors influence your buyinf decision?
Display visuals and results of processing.
Advantages: Immediate feedback, can edit it eg letter size and screen brightness
Limitations: quality depends on monitor. Output difficult to share. Disturbed by natural lighting
Factors: resolution (ppi), aspect ratio, contrast ratio and colour depth
What is a speaker/headphones?
Its use, advantages and limitations?
Output sound after processing
Advantages (headphones): Doesnt bother people around you
Advantages (speaker): many people can listen at once and volume is maximised
Limitations: sound depends on the quality of speaker/headphones and they can be distracting
What are the different printers?
Their use, advantages and limitations?
Laser printers: print black and white or colour, fast in high quality but with low quality photos
Injekt: print in black and white or colour and are cheap and high quality but the cost per page is high and its slow
Dot matrix: used for POS systems like reciepts. Can create carbon copies but in low quality.

Resolution (dpi)
Cost per image
Type and size of paper
Mobility
The connection type (wireless or wired)
What is a 3d printer?

Prints 3d objects
Advantages: used for building things, prototypes and organs
Limitations: expensive, complex, smelly snd loud
What is a projection?
Its use, advantages and limitations?
A projection of an image display.
Advantages: largens the image
Limitations: lower quality, fixed aspect ratio and affected by natural light
