Ever had sexual contact with a man? Ever injected Drugs? Ever with IVDA? Ever with outside UK partner? Medical treatment outside UK Prostitution use
What are the methods of partner notification?
Patient tells contacts (client referral)
NHS tells contacts (provider referral)
Why should you offer further testing for STI patients?
Most STI risk factors are HIV risk factors
If they have one, may have another
What factors can be promoted in health promotion?
Condoms prevent transmission
Oral sex carries risk (higher for fellatio)
Alcohol and other drugs
