A

international organisation for standardization is responsible for developing worldwide standards to ensure the products manufactured in one country can be sold and used in another. reduce the technical barriers to international trade, increase the size of potential markets and position australian firms to compete in a world economy. not all products have standards and most are adopted voluntarily
