All UDCs are to be collected from the apparatus and delivered to the command post
LEVEL III:
The Incident Commander shall implement ‘ENTRY CONTROL” and designate an Entry Control Officer.
(UDCs with PATs; Entry Control Officer when they ENTER AND EXIT)
Anytime Level III accountability has been ordered, the Incident Commander will notify the ____ to sound a two-second alert tone on the incident talk group.

MAYDAY PROCEDURES
- Activate the orange “Emergency Activation” button located on the top of the portable radio.
- Push the push-to-talk button, and transmit the phrase “MAYDAY, MAYDAY, .MAYDAY,” and wait ‘ several seconds for Command to acknowledge. If Command does not . acknowledge continue to transmit the term “MAYDAY, MAYDAY, MAYDAY,” until
acknowledged by Command. - Once acknowledged by Command be prepared to give your position on the apparatus, location and resources/equipment required.
- Command shall prompt the member in distress to activate their PASS device.
