What is stage one of learning?
Stage one of learning is the cognitive stage, where the performer learns the basics of the skill and tries to understand how to copy the demonstration, the skill will be slow and disjointed as the performer practices it, motor programmes have begun to form but are not yet developed
What is stage two of learning?
Stage two of learning is the associative stage, where the performer has to practice lots, the performer also has to compare their performance to a top level performer in order to adapt their practice to reach the level of the top level performer
What is stage three of learning?
Stage three of learning is the autonomous stage, where the performer has reached an automatic response level after effective practice, the performer must continue to practice in order to stay in the autonomous stage other performance will decrease, the motor programme has become fully developed
