STAGES OF INFECTION
FIRST STAGE
(Latent Period/Incubation Period)
SECOND STAGE
(Prodromal stage)
THIRD STAGE
(Acute Stage / Illness stage)
FOURTH STAGE
(Convalescence)
this is the stage wherein the
pathogenic microorganisms enters the body and lies dormant.
At this point, the disease become
communicable.
FIRST STAGE
(Latent Period/Incubation Period )
during this stage the microbe
reproduces, and disease process
begins.
SECOND STAGE
(Prodromal stage)
this stage is characterized by the
onset of mild, nonspecific symptoms such as fatigue, muscle aches, and a general feeling of being unwell.
SECOND STAGE
(Prodromal stage)
when the signs and symptoms
of the disease reach their fullest
extent or produce only vague,
subclinical symptoms.
THIRD STAGE
(Acute Stage / Illness stage)
During this phase, the symptoms
begin to diminish and eventually
disappear.
FOURTH STAGE
(Convalescence)
