What is open skill and give an example of it.

A

Open skills is where the situation is always changing, seen in sports such as netball and football

Give an example of closed skill and what it is.

A

Closed skills take place in a stable, predictable environment, and the player knows exactly what to do and when. Skills are not affected by the environment. Eg- free throw in basketball, set piece fir football

What is basic skill?

A

Is a skill in that the player finds easy to do and little concentration to do. This could be a chest pass in netball, or a side - foot pass in football

What is complex skill?

A

Complex skill needs the players complete attention and concentration as it is technically difficult to perform: for example, a penalty kick in football, or a smash in tennis.

A

Feedback that comes from the performer themselves.

A

Comes from an outside source
