Something that can have an influence on participation in sport such as what school you attend, access to facilities, availability of specialist coach and more
Social Stratification
A type of inequality where society is divided into different levels based on social characteristics

Effect of Social Stratification on Sport
Wealthy members of society have a higher disposable income and will be able to play sports such as tennis, equestrian while poorer people can not

Discrimination

Prejudice
An unfavorable opinion of an individual or group, often based on inadequate facts
Stereotype
A standardized image and beliefs created by a simplistic generalisation about all members of a group

Sport clubs disallowing people to join their clubs
Covert Discrimination
Sport clubs not putting money into improved access for disabled athletes
