Q

What is the GAPS diet?

A

A very restrictive elimination diet designed to heal leaky gut by detoxification. By following the diet, it helps to remove grains, pasteurized dairy, starchy vegetables, and refined carb. The idea is that the gut can heal and repopulate itself with healthy bacteria, leading to less inflammation and potentially fewer symptoms for a variety of conditions.
